Baking soda is full of resources! Used by our grandmothers for years, here are the 10 uses to absolutely know!

1. Launder your laundry and restore it to its full shine
Often, white clothes turn dull. To revive their white color, nothing could be simpler, soak them in water and baking soda before putting it in the machine.

2. Remove scotch residue
To remove stubborn duct tape residue, make a thick paste with baking soda and water. Rub this mixture on the pieces of adhesive tape then wipe with a sponge and you're done!

3. Remove greasy stains
Did you spill some sauce on your pants? Do not panic ! Sprinkle baking soda on the stain and let sit for about 1 hour. Then rub very gently with a damp sponge or brush, then put your pants in the machine! Bicarbonate is a good solution in addition to your Oiko balls for very greasy tasks.

4. Eliminate cockroaches
Baking soda is known as an insecticide for some species, it is particularly effective against cockroaches. For this, place a shallow dish or bowl containing sugar and baking soda. Cockroaches are attracted to sugar, but will be killed with the baking soda.

5. Extinguish the flames
It can happen to anyone to burn the baking paper in the oven. To effectively extinguish the flames as quickly as possible, always keep a can of baking soda in your kitchen so that you can quickly throw some on the flames.
